I'm curious, how do u make a living out of the forums?

Why get rid of it? It's just an annoyance really, I don't think it serves much of a purpose whatsoever, especially with ways around it. Just takes up more of our time.

You are correct, the advertising revenue is quite low. I also offer webmaster services to a handful of clients to augment my income. The reason I feel so passionately is because communities like this are truely special places. I really feel that they will become more and more important components of the internet over time.

Hi Andy.

I agree with you about these being truly special places, this is the only forum i have ever stuck to and will continue, nice bunch of people. Other forums ive signed up but lost interest it just didn't have that extra touch, id otn know... something about Discuss Fitness keeps me to it :.
