Well gang, your moderator team has been hard at work behind the scenes creating some new and exciting features for the members of Discuss Fitness. We are in the process of gathering information and creating articles for a newsletter focusing on the members of Discuss Fitness. For the time being it will be published quarterly - Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. As our expertise grows and more members become involved we hope to bring it out monthly.
Some highlights of our first issue:
- Member spotlight - get up close and personal with individuals in our community
- Fitness/Nutrition/Training article written by a respected board member
- Sample workouts to try
- Recipes - because sometimes we neglect the good stuff!
In conjunction with the newsletter we are looking to make some long overdue structural changes to the board as well. A teaser of the newsletter will be emailed to each member and the whole issue will be posted in a Members Only section of our board, which will also include a few new forums. This is all because you have all made this a great place to hang out and we have been listening to your suggestions. So keep your eyes open for threads asking for your input. It is the members who will make this project special!
