a different work out routine what r ur thoughts?

i heard of this workout plan that consists of a diffrent work out every time for each muscle. for example one days chest work out would be incline, bench, and ending it with dips. then the next chest work out would be completely different one same with the following and the follwoing work out. What are ur guys opinion on this type of workout plan? i have been lifting for a couple of years and am pleased with my results, but i am trying to shok my system into a higher intensity workouts. i am in a little bit of rush so i cant explain much but i got the idea from the guys in the new upcoming movie 300 apparently this is what the guys in the film using as a work our plan. thank you

I think it sounds like an interesting idea, but I'm concerned about translating the weight used to a different exercise. For example, if I bench X pounds, how much can I dip? Also, how would one measure progression?

Some people would probably thrive on this routine, though, like if they get bored easily and need a lot of change to keep motivated.

Alot is going to depend on how often you train the body part, I fail to see how you are going to make progress on any one exericse if you only train a body part once a week. I find the muscle confusion theory to be a bunch of bunk - work at an exercise until you fail to progress on if for 2 workouts drop it for a different exercise.

I have been doing basic routines for 3 years now.I have never done advanced stuff at all. I have taken only seven, three kilo tubs of protein during this period and I have gained 24 kilos.(keeping in mind, I have a fast metabolism) My routines would be the same for 6 weeks straight, take 1 week off, then come back and change routines a little for six weeks, 1 week rest and then repeat. Sticking to the basics does help but you must always perform routines in good form and not cheating. If you can do this with good food intake, 8 hours sleep, and an increase in weighs, you too can gain muscle with no problems.
