Well you don't need to rest your abs as much as you would your other muscles... like your calves they can be worked out every day.... if theyre sore just let it rest, but you dont need to worry about letting them rest a whole week i wouldnt think.

You can excersize your abs all you want, its not going to do you any good. Seeing your abs is all about dieting, if you wanna see them abs you have to decrease your body fat by dieting. Fat belongs to your whole body, you just can lose it in one particular area.
