is it bad to add milk to a post workout shake or at that any protein shake u make anytime of the day? i hear it like slows the absorption of the whey protein since whey is meant to be absored fast

You said it - the casien in milk slows the absorbtion of the whey protein. It is possible that it will still be digested in the window of opportunity, but more than likely not. I personally wouldnt risk it.

Milk is mostly all sugar, unless your looking for extra cals I wouldn't use it. If it's your last meal...I guess it would be a little more acceptable to add milk.
I've used skim milk for my shakes since I started taking them. I seem to be absorbing the protein just fine.
And you need an insulin spike after your workout anyhow. That's why you get simple carbs after a workout. What is the few grams in an 8oz cup of milk going to matter?
I agree with amused ive always taken it with my shakes while im in a bulikng phase. If im in a cutting phase ill have to of my shakes with water one with milk. Arnold always made his shakes with milk, i live and die by arnold

That's why i drink my shake with milk after a workout. For the added carbs and surgar. I actually like my shake better with water.
