advice on cutting please???

So i decided to start cutting. But I want to make sure I dont lose lots of muscle. What I do now, Im really enjoying. I go to the gym for about 2 hours. I do about 25 minutes of workout, then 15-20 of cardio, then another 20-25 minutes of working out, then another 15-20 of cardio, all until I get to about 2 hours. So far, I love it...I worked my biceps on Saturday, and I swear they must have grown at least 1/2 an inch! They look so much bigger now! My gym has this awesome machine called the XL700 by CSC Fitness Incorporated, I think...its like a cross country ski machine. I use it for 15 minutes, and I burn about 150 calories! I love it! Im going to Canada in September for college, and I wanna look good. I am 5'5, and weigh 180. I still want to keep muscle, but lose the fat around my chest, stomach, love handles. I have a waist size of 34, which I believe is okay. I, for some reason...lose fat easily, gain it easily, lose muscle easily, and gain it easily. I stopped working out my shoulders for 2 weeks, and already I see they arent bulging out of my shirts like they used to. If i sit at home one day and dont workout, and eat some candy, the next day I have trouble fitting into size 36 pants, then I walk for 2 hours, and the next day I fit into size 34 easily...so yeah, onto my questions...sorry...I am cutting, I dont want to lose my muscle...Im gonna still do my 2 hours in the gym all throughout the summer...when school is out, Im gonna start a diet consisting of 150-200g of carbs a day, along with consuming high amounts of protein every hour. Should I consume creatine? Anything else I should do, or not do? Im just trying to tone up, lose the fat, maintain muscle. Any advice???

Hi-

Just plain old weight training and cardio.... along with a nutritious diet is all you need. You'll need to eat less than you burn everyday to lose the fat.

Circuit training combines weights and cardio, and it's also a great way to burn fat.

Don't worry about losing muscle. Just worry about doing the workouts and cardio. If your diet is good, you won't lose muscle.

The routine you mentioned does not sound optimal. Go with tried-and-true methods and you can't go wrong. Do a search for beginner routines and you'll find a lot of good info.
