Afraid of lifting heavy!!!

The biggest exercise I'm afraid to get serious with is the bench press. I'm afraid if I lift heavy that my chest will get bigger than my arms. Should I not be worry about this or what? I'm 20 years old by the way.

Nope, not a worry. The chest will grow, the arms will grow - in fact the heavy benching will help your triceps grow quite nicely. If I remember correctly this is one of your concerns since triceps are the bulk of the upper arm mass. Heavy benching plus tricep work = adding a loaf of bread to the back of your arms.

And polecat - go away. This dude had a serious question which needs serious replies not stupid spam.

And the polecat is gone - now my comment looks stupid.

When it comes to lifting and growing, the only body part people generally need to be concerned about growing to big, is their head :-)

exactly. your arms will usually stay in proportion to your chest, and it would take a real effort to make your chest look abnormally large in comparision to your arms!

just lift heavy and you will see improvements in your triceps, which will lead to being able to perform other exercises even heavier than before.
