Barbell Recommendations?

Hey guys what's up. I've been using a machine and some small 5 lbs weights for my routines for a while now and I've decided to invest in something else, preferably a barbell. The problem is I only have $60 so I might only be able to get the barbell and an incomplete set (I seriously doubt I need an olympic 1500 lb. set anyways haha), no bench. I just saw this which answered my concern over whether that would suffice for now.

I'm just wondering if you guys have any recommendations on a good for the price barbell/weight-set of at most $60 (Not including tax etc.), since I am completely new to this subject and wouldn't know what to look for.

Like I said I don't think I need an extensive set, I doubt I could do anything above 150 lbs., and I'm pretty sure I can do even less since I won't have a bench and I'm new to this. Thanks!

Have you checked out a Play-It-Again Sports or other stores that sell used stuff? Also, people have had some success with craigslist.

im trying to figure out how you preform a bench press without a bench??? like what lay on the floor. I think your arms would need to go down past your ribcage meat(lats), If you did a bench off a completely flat surface like a floor, it would obstruct the movement. you need something to suspend your body in the air... I would save about another 100 bucks and get a bench.... thats all you need is a bench, bar, and dumbbells. you prolly could get away with working out with out dumb bells too...
