heavy or light w/ many reps?

I hear different sides to this so I'm pretty confused...

If I want to loose about 2 sizes (loose fat and lean out)... should I be doing light weights many reps (exosting the muscle that way) or heavy weights less reps?

The different reps people tell you depend on the goal. If you want to lose fat and not put on a lot of muscle you should do high reps, like 12-20, with a weight you can barely finish that # of reps with. Right now, for your goal, I'd start with 15 reps per set. But you shouldn't worry too much about gaining muscle size because very few girls achieve that easily anyway.

heavy weights + less reps IMO, but remember its all in the diet if you want to lose fat.
