here's a question ive never asked....lol
yeah unfortunately i proved i have no self-control and my diet that started today ended in only...3 hours, lol, damn nutri-grain bars, cant stay away from them. I ran 2 miles first in the morning, but my question is...if i just eat normally and run 2 miles first thing in the morning, is that good enough to lose some weight??? Also, would you say 45 minutes of walking or 30 minutes of running (equalling 2 miles for me) is better for fat loss???

Do This.
If you want optimal results, you need to plan out a diet, (or keep track of what you eat for a couple days, post it, and people here can give you suggestions). The major feeling people have on this board is that going high-intensity for a short period of time is better than moderate intensity for a long time. Read that link above.

I would have to say how many calories is "normal eating" for you? If you are eating more than you are burning, then NO, it isn't good for fat loss. If you rae eating less than you are burning, then fine.
By the way, GO BUSH! :

Tell your parents to stop buying Nutri-Grain bars. If we had them in the house I'd be eating them too, they are delishious.

They're horrible. But what abarlament says is true - if it's in your house you will eventually eat it (unless 'it' is carpet or silverware or curtains or stairs or purple)
Oh yeah and 'Boo Mikey Moore'. There's a man who ate everything in the fridge.

Agree with Firehawk, if you are "Eating normally" but the cals you are consuming are higher than you are burning then you are going to be putting on weight.
Do some research and work out how many cals you burn each day and then you can work out how many cals you should be consuming to lose weight. I would suggest starting with about 100 - 200 cals per day less then you require to start with and see how you go.

Italian, you're just like me. I can NOT have anything in the house and not eat it. I've asked my parents to stop buying sweets and cakes because if it's in the pantry, even if I know it's unhealthy, I'm eating it...
BTW your diet doesn't have to be 1)12:00 PM 1 celery stick 2) 3:00 PM 2 celery sticks with fat free ranch....you can mix it up a bit, add some pasta, fresh veggies, fruits, chicken, tuna, salmon, bread, and occasionaly, cheat it up ocassionaly. Good luck
