Hey Cursor

Hey, you have the physique that I'm aiming for. Your transformation is incredible! I have a question for you if you don't mind me asking. How long did it take for you to reach the physique? And, can you help me on my abs and obliques? I mean, I'm trying to gain mass, so should I worry about my other muscle groups first, then work on my abs?

Thanks for the compliment. I'm not quite where I want to be, but am moving in the right direction. You ask how long ... 50 years! Naw...

From captions on the photos, you can see that there was a 17 month span between dates. If I hadn't started at such an ignorant state, I certainly would have made quicker progress. While I have performed abdomnal/oblique weighted exercises in the past (based on the standard recommendations that everyone reads), I really think that since abs are relatively small muscles, they probably get plenty of stimulus when doing the major compound lifts.

I would have acheived quicker and more satisfying results (I think) by focusing more on heavier weighted exercises that target the larger muscle in the body (particularly the legs and back).

I just looked at the pictures... All I can say is wow. That's about the transformation I'm looking to see... but I figured it would take longer than a year and a half. Wow... so do you have a writeup of how you did it? how 'bout some motiviational words?

It'd be nice to have it all put together in one spot ... but I haven't quite yet done that. There are over 1000 posts (so far) though by me on this site that will give you plenty of information. If there's anything specific that I can help with, just ask.

No competitions for me (except on the basketball court ). I just want to be fit. It's become a bit of an experiment (and I'm the guinea pig) to see what worx and what doesn't.
