If you are concentrating on building up your chest and arms, being skinny will not prevent you from succeeding.
First off, you have to train those muscle FREQUENTLY, and not just once a week, like everyone seems to be suggesting. If you only train the muscle that often, then the muscle has no reason to quickly recuperate, recover, and grow. (Look at sprinters.....they have massive legs. However, they don't sprint just once a week, they sprint several times A DAY, SEVERAL DAYS A WEEK).
Second, you must achieve a tight, stretching, vascular pump everytime you work the muscle.
Third, you must work the muscle at a high muscular capacity.
Fourth, use exercises that best work YOUR PARTICULAR MUSCLES. Some people can grow big chests with the
bench press, while others, like prisoners and gymnasts, grow big chests using dips and push-ups!
