HIIT question

So I have been on a program for about three months that has been working well but I want to add HIIT to it. Typically after work I go to the gym and do the following:
10 mins on treadmill
first 1/3 of my weights workout (I alternate upper and lower body days)
10 mins bike
second 1/3 of my weights workout
10 mins stairmaster
thrid 1/3 of my weights workout
20-30 mins on precor (I go really hard, interval training setting)

This works to build muscle well and keep my heart rate up for the entire time im in there. Im not trying to get huge, just cut.

So Im think that I could add 20min HIIt running (luckily I live a block from the beach) before work to get the metabolism going and hopefully love some bodyfat quicker.

So finally the question!

Will my heavy cardio in the evening affect the proposed addition of HIIT in the morning in a positive, negative or neutral way.

Id love to know what you guys think

Any reason I should cut out the cardio in the evening

How much time is between the two cardio sessions. I'd say your okay as long as it's about 6-8 hours in between sessions. But the body responds to different things. If you find your overly tired or your body screams "No", then try something else.

thanks for the reply
yes it will probably be about 8-10 hours in between cardio so I agree that its probably no big deal. Obviously if I get overwhelmed i will slow it down.

Thanks
