Why haven't u been doing weightlifting the entire time? That's just asking for
muscle loss (doing cardio and
caloric deficit while not weightlifting). That's like telling the body you don't need your muscle, and believe me, the body would rather keep the fat than keep the muscle. Fat is much easier to retain than muscle is.
I think you should lift heavy and intensely and keep doing the cardio/diet. Do cardio on different days than the weightlifting.
What was your BF% at the beginning and what is it now? I'd be pretty surprised if you didnt lose a bunch of lean mass if you weren't doing weights most of that time.
