I want to change my Chest/Tricep routine, This is what I have been doing. And then I will show what I want to change it to, Tell me what you think?
OLD ROUTINE
Chest:
Bench Press 4x5 165,185,175,165 (In order I do them)
Decline 2x6 155, 165
Incline DB 1x6 40/45 (Each DB)
SOMETIMES: Flyes 1x8, DB Bench 1x8
Triceps:
Dips 2x6-7 with 35--> 40lbs of weight
DB Pullovers 1x8 65lbs
^ Would move weight up randomly, when I thought appropriate.
NEW ROUTINE
Chest:
Bench Press 2x8 - Same Weight, Both Sets
Decline 1x8
Incline DB 1x8
DB Bench 1x8
Butterflyes 1x8
Triceps:
Dips 2x8 (Weighted)
Tricep Pulldown (rope) 1x8
Tricep Bar Pullovers 1x8
DB Pullovers (maybe) 1x8
And then with this workout ^ I would just move the weight up 5lbs the next time, Everytime that I completed all 8 reps of the set.
HOW does this sound? Any suggestions?
