I was wondering how long you are supposed to wait to excercise after you eat. Also, if you excercise before you eat, how long should you wait or can you go ahead and eat?

It depends on what you eat and how much you eat. Generally speaking, you'll want to let your stomach finish with it most aggressive chomping at the the new food. If you're eating something that takes your stomach more time and effort to break down, then you should wait a little longer. If you've just had a glass of milk with a slice of bread, then you won't have to wait quite as long.
