How long should I wait to go back to the gym?


I started going to the gym on Thursday, and I did a full body workout (all of the circuit training machines, 9 of them as I remember), and then about 15 minutes of cardio. I went back to the Gym friday and did about 40 minutes of hard cardio.

Now my question is this: How long should I wait to go back to the gym?
I couldn't go yesterday because I my upper body was still hurting from Thursdays workout (mostly my pectoralis minor and teres minor muscles). My legs still hurt from Fridays cardio.

I really enjoy going to the gym, but I don't want to go back too soon and inhibit my progress by injuring myself.

Wait till you feel completly better, eat sleep and get rest, it will help a whole lot if your hurting you could injury yourself or do something stupid

...and drink plenty of water to help flush your muscles of the lactic acid which is what causes the burning/aching feeling.

bro if you are just starting back to the gym my suggestion would be to work out three days a week. Also make sure that you are eating clean and getting plenty of sleep. :thumbup:
