How much time?

Hey I am planning my next 12 months at the moment and I have decided to bulk up for 10 months (started last month) and cut down for 3 months.

Now my question is, am I allowing myself adequate time to cut down my body fat from around the 15% - 16% mark down to 10-11%?

Has anyone here done this sought of thing in this kind of time, or should I allow myself extra time?

Thanks for your help.

If you are already at 15-16%, why not just go for the bulking now and worry about getting under 10% later? As long as you watch your diet, and then try to bulk up by lifting heavy or whatever you are gonna do, you can at MINIMUM maintain your fat % where it is. In fact, id bet you that your fat% will start to decrease while you add muscle!

But your diet needs to be sound to do this.

buddy above me is right, i hate quoting people. Why not just bulk muscle instead of putting on fat? Start using stuff like nitro-tech and cell-tech supplements and eat like a pig, work like a pig, and lift like a...jaster. I'm doing the same deal right now, my bf% was at 23% 2 weeks ago, not sure what is is now, and i started using hydroxycut, nitro-tech, cell-tech and another brand of casein protein powder. I know for sure my bf% is less than 23% now and i've added 25lbs to my bench, IN ONLY 2 WEEKS. Check out a local pharmacy and see what they say about the supplements, but it could really help.
