read the stickies at the tops of the forums - you'll find the answer to your question plus a lot more good stuff in there.
secondly, you have a trainer - don't second-guess him/her. its' very bad manners to go running back with "well, you said this and then this chick i've never met said on a website that it's supposed to be that". just follow the program laid out for you and focus on learning from this website.
