how often should I be working out? how many day breaks between?


Ive started knuckling down and doing some working out. I got a personal trainer session and he sorted out a schedule for me. Both days include weight training though (although the different exercises differ), is that a problem firstly? secondly, how often should I be going to the gym? Considering I have "day 1" and "day 2" plans. Yes, I would have asked him but I forgot, and I'm at home now and I'm eager to find out...

read the stickies at the tops of the forums - you'll find the answer to your question plus a lot more good stuff in there.

secondly, you have a trainer - don't second-guess him/her. its' very bad manners to go running back with "well, you said this and then this chick i've never met said on a website that it's supposed to be that". just follow the program laid out for you and focus on learning from this website.
