How to get "wider".
I don't really want to put on much weight, but I was wondering how to get "wider" from oblique to oblique. I am 6'4 180ish, and I like the size I am from back to stomach (ofcourse my abs could be bigger, and more defined...but who doesn't want that, you know). But my body comes in on the sides kind of like a soft curve as opposed to going down more like a box. I have tried to more oblique excersizes to build that up, but it hasn't seemed to be very effective yet. I also tried the excersize where (sorry don't know the name) you lie on your side off of the machine, and instead of doing crunches to work your abs you use your obliques as your abs and do sideways crunches.
I think the fact that I am 6'4 is what is making it hard for me to get wider like that just because of my height, but I was hoping some one else would have an answer. Some people call me "lanky" becuse of my width like that...but I think that is the only reason, because otherwise I look like a decently toned person.
I know most people, especially weight lifters want the "v" cut, but on me, with pecs that aren't very big yet I think it looks stupid. I want to have a slightly less "v" cut, and more of a boxy looking, muscled core.
Can anyone help me out? Thanks a lot in advance.
