Question

How to work the middle area of my chest?

I've always been wanting to get my chest bigger. Currently I do bench, dips, flys and one other excercise that I don't know the name of. My chest is coming along nicely but it would be nice to bulk up the middle of it a little more. Is there a specific lift that I could do to target that area, or do I just need to be more patient with the lifts that i'm currently doing now? Thanks

Pretty much, you just have to be more patient with things, as your chest gets bigger overall in size, the middle area will thicken up along with the rest of your chest. This takes time, but doing all you can to maximize your efforts in and out of the gym is what will help you get there quickest!

aberry33, ever thought of the weight free workout, do some good PUSHUPS on a flat surface or feet up behind a chair, and for me they gave me the bulk and middle chest area definition and they also filled up the top part of my chest and cut the bottom, so i found pushups along with my benchpress' routine go so well and although you omight be thinking that becuaseit is a free alternative it might not work that much, but i see them as a crucial part of my routine, i like them and they do me heaps good

you cant target that area independant of the whole chest! the pecs start from the inner clavical and sternum end at the upper arm (humerus) there is no attachment part way. You can target upper or lower pec by varied angle of the lift.
