I don't know what to do

Heres my stats:

5'7
110 lbs
17 years old

I get made fun of all the time for being so small. I'm a senior in highschool and people always asume im like 12 and am not athletic or anything because im so small. I dont know why but no matter what i eat/exercises i do, i cannot gain any weight/muscle. You can take your index finger and pinky finger and overlap them around my wrists, and index and middle with my ankle. I have little to no muscle, but i also have no time nor money to go to the gym.

So i was wondering if you guys had any ideas on what i could do to gain some weight and some muscle without having to buy a monthy gym membership or buying equipment. Currently at my house i have 2- 25, 15, 10 pound dumbells but that is it. What should i do?

Dude, You and me have so much in common. I used to weigh 125 pounds last year, 5'10. I was skinny as hell. Then started going to the gym and taking "Serious Mass" supplement. 6 months later. I weight 150 pounds. I gained 25 pounds.

Even now when i tell friends that i work out they are laughin, even though i can beat them in just about anything. Pushups, Pullups, bench, situps you name it.

As of now..
I am 150 pounds
5'10
16 years old

My goal is to gain around 15 more pounds by the end of this year.

What do you eat now in a typical day?
Are you currently using the weights that you have available?

I usually eat a Quaker Oats bar for breakfast, whatever the school is offering for lunch, then chicken/steak/pork or fish for dinner. I usually drink 2 liters of water a day. I eat junk food occasionally also.

I used to use the weights, but after a month i didn't see any improvements at all so i gave up.

No wonder you're unable to gain weight (much less 'muscle' from your weightlifting efforts). You need a much more substantial amount of quality food to start your day.

Generally, you'll need to eat more (but not pig out) ... especially near the times that you have your formal weightlifting sessions.

I kind of have that problem as well, it could be due to the high metabolism which you are born with. I have a very high metabolism as well, making it hard for me to gain weight. But what you should be looking into is a high carb diet. I am looking into buying " Serious Mass " because mrzool (another member) had mentioned that he had gained approx. 25 lbs in 2 months. That may not seem like a lot buy 25 lbs is a huge diffrence. Now I don't know how safe this stuff is for you. So now my question is to anyone who knows " Is stuff like serious mass (weight gainers ), safe to eat? Specifically I'd like to know if Serious Mass itself is good?"

By the way thats what I started working out with 10 lbs, then I used to pack my two 10lbs in my knapsack and curl that. But I just made an investment of 30 dollars a couple of months ago and got myself a 100lb barbell set. 30 CDN. Its really worth it. But pull ups, pushups, crunches all help. But you need the body to work with. So you'd have to gain weight or your just going to get more ripped and leaner.

I started out like you as well. You'll have to eat more often, but the lifting is what will kickstart the muscle growth process. For this, I went to the gym and pumped on the machines for a while, but that's not the only way. You could buy some free weights, or you could just work on bodyweight exercises. Press-ups, pull-ups and squats pretty much work the whole body, and when you master them, you can progress to doing them with one arm/leg (I'm still yet to do a one-arm pull-up).

That would be an assisted one-arm pull-up. Still impressive, though.
