I am new to this board and am pleased to have found it. I am a 26 yr. old female. I really need to lose 35 pounds. I am up to 170 now and it has really been a struggle to try to get down to where I should be, oh yeah, I am 5'8" by the way. I have tried all the fad diets and just end up gaining back even more. Within the last week I have had 2 different people tell me "wow, you have
gained weight". Talk about making someone feel good. Anyway, I want to finally lose this weight with proper excercise and nutrition and lose it for good. I was planning on starting by walking 2 miles everyday and cutting my calories. I'm not sure how many calories I eat a day now, but I know it isn't pretty, especially since I eat
fast food alot. I would like to know how many would be proper and if I should start with weights now or later after I drop a few pounds. Any comments and help would be appreciated. Thanks!
