If I do incline presses do I need to do flat bench?
I have been avoiding flat bench preses for a while and instead doing inclines. Is that good enough or do I need to do flat presses also?

It probablly depends on what your goals are. Is there a reason why you do not like doing flat ones?

I find it best to vary your presses, incline, decline and flat, although if you are to choose one then flat is your general choice.

flat bench will give the nice shape - you can't work one part of a muscle and not another.
inclines put more emphasis on front delts, less on pecs.

But it all works together - you want strong delts in order to get a strong chest. Don't only do flats forever or you will get plateaued forever.

from what i can tell, the guys who press the big numbers rarely, if ever, do inclined presses. besides, you can mix it up on the horizontal plane: standard barbell press, dumbbell press, speed bench, boards, cable press, chains, bands - lots of room to play in there.

Flat is my preferred way. If I really feel some compulsion to do incline or decline in addition to flat work, I grab some DBs and do 1 or 2 sets of 6-8 reps.
Chances are you punish your delts plenty if you have a shoulder component in your routine.
