Talking

Just got some great news

I had been having elevated liver readings for my SGOT and SGTT levels for the past 3-4 months, but today I got a call from my doctor saying that my SGOT is finally in the normal range and the SGTT is much closer to being normal than what it had been. He also did test on my thyroid and checked to see if I had mercury poison b/c I had been having some problems lately, but they were all good too .

Now I can finally workout seriously again and start taking protein shakes and vitamins again. This has been a great day, the news really pumped me up and I had the best workout I have had in atleast 3 months, and then I rewarded myself with a delicious whey protein shake

Well congrats on your good news.

Out of curiosity, why were you being tested for mercury, what made you suspicious of that in particular, and from what source?

Again, big congrats on the normalizing that's going on!

Yeah, LOL Julius.

The reason I was tested for mercury was b/c I have lots of the symptoms of what all of the people had in a recent article in Readers Digest (hair loss, trouble sleeping, etc.) Still have these problems and I am going to see a gastroinomoligist (sorry about the spelling) in mid October to see if they can find out why, but since my liver is back in the normal range again the doctor said I could go back to eating and lifting normal till then atleast.
