Legs sore next day.....

i worked my legs yesterday and they are sore today like you can feel that they have been done. I suppose they will be better tomorrow but not as much. I want to do cardio tomorrow is it alright to do cardio if your legs are a bit sore, if i do a good warm up and stretch?

also for the future what can i do to minimize soreness the next for legs? stretch?

thanks.

you should be happy

some cardio will definitely help the pain to go be washed away by the blood.

Soreness the next day or days after is not lactic acid buildup.

Working your sore muscles will only force them to recover faster, to prevent soreness next time the only thing you can do is stretch before and after your workout. Also if you aren't already, start taking BCAA's they will help with your recovery.

The soreness will never go away after a good hard workout, but to make it go away do a warm-up and cool-down, try doign 5 minutes on a bike or treadmill before and after your workouts, to ease into and out of your leg workout.
