morning gas

I am just wondering if anyone knows what could be causing me to have persistent gas frequently in school!! It seems it occurs roughly at the same time frame each time. My morning meal consists of 2 pkgs plain oatmeal w/ sugarless maple syrup, banana, english muffin w/ peanut butter, cup orange juice, multivitamin, and finally my protein shake. I need to stop the gas, it makes me uncomfortable when I NEED to excrete nasty farts. PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

try the nutrition section of this forum, people may know more. i would say try a new breakfast and see if anything is different. it could be that those foods cause gas in your body, but it might be a different reason. good luck

farting is mostly cause by the amount of fibre you eat...
I think you can take charcoal tablets to help.

It means that you are eating healthy, so it's a good thing.

I love cracking out a huge thunderous fart, always good for a laugh.

Hey if your not man enough to do it where ever you are then just run to a bathroom and let it all out.

Just keep working out. Once you reach full meat head status, people expect you to cut an abnoxiously smelly and loud fart every now and then.

One common side affect of peanut allergy is gas. Try cutting out the peanut butter in the morning and see if that helps.

yeah that's nasty man

oh an it could possibly be because of lactose intolerancy. when i was taking whey i would blow them all the time but ever since i decided to go w/ protein from whole foods i haven't had nearly as much gas.
