Ditto, the first week I ever tried Dipping, I went from using 60 lbs. on an assist machine, to doing 3 sets of 8 no problem, I probably could wieght, but I havent been to consistent the past few weeks.

by the way, I really thought that was the only way to do dips, I can understand the purpose of staying completely upright to target just the tri's, but when your doing them free without an assist, it impossible to stay upright... besides I love the burn you get in your sternum portion of the pectorals.....

Well after reading up on the web and taking the advice posted on this forum i have now managed to up my bench to 195 and planning on trying 205 on my next workout.

I would like to reach my goal of 225 before the summer, unfortunately i have to take 3 weeks off starting may 2nd, as I will be traveling and will not have access to any gym.
