No sorness afterwards?

Howdy howdy,

Just curious. Is it strange that I experience very little to no soreness in between training sessions even though I go to the point of failure on each set?

Thanks,
DH

Pretty much if you do the same workout each... week for example, the soreness will get less and less with each workout. You will still be building up though so don't think no soreness = no hypertrophy. If you would add an exercise or two to the workout you'll end up getting sore again. Get it?

I never get sore unless it's been a while since I lifted or I happen to get tanked that night. If you want soreness, go to the bar after you workout, that always works.

Not getting sore does not mean you didn't get a good workout. I get sore sometimes, sometimes I don't. When I take a good week or more off from weights I'm quite sore when I start up again!

Thanks guys. On a side note, is a type of creatine supplement such as cell mass counter productive to a cutting diet??

Thanks again,
DH

Go Navy, yeah....

Only you can answer that for your own body. I use creatine quite well while cutting. Because of the type of cutting diet I use I don't want to risk dehydration so I use creatine and drink a whole lot of water.

Others find that it is counterproductive while cutting. Try it both ways, see how it goes for you.
