Unhappy

Please help. I'm confused.

Please help me. I have been trying to maximize my workouts. I am trying to gain weight, so I lift heavy with few reps. The problem is...I no longer get that tight burning feeling after a workout. I use to workout and my muscels would feel bigger right on the spot. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong? I want that "swole" feeling back.

That "swole" feeling is the pump you get is blood flooding your muscles from the higher rep ranges. Some trainers don't believe it is necessary to get the pump in order to grow. But I know that I like the feeling it gives. If you do too, then what you should do is add a few lighter weight, higher reps sets after you do your lower rep workout. This will get your muscles pumped.

pumps

i would say that the fealing you experience,or you were experincing was a "pump".the fealing ocurrs when there is more blood being pumped into the area then out.I believe that adding a set of "triples" will help for your pumps, doing three difernt exercises for one muscle.try this without taking breakes between sets, for example
preacher curl 10 reps
alt.dumbell curl 10 reps
single.arm cable curl 10 reps
do these three sets without a break...pause if needed and then repeat untill you have given yourself a good workout. This should help for a great pump.
