Pre and post workout carbs

I have to say that I believe this forum is exceptional. Things seem to be getting more confusing, yet clearer, if that makes any sense, and I am looking forward to beginning my journey to a new and better me.

Quick question: After reading several of Cursor's diet plans and great recipes, and input from others, if I understand correctly, one should intake a decent amount of carbs before and after workout as to supply the body with enough energy to workout, and replenish the body after the workout. This is where I run into a dilemma. For the most part, I workout in the evening, when carbs should be limited. So, what's a girl to do? I don't want to eat too many carbs. I am considering moving my cardio routines to the morning, but I can't always do that. So - any input would be appreciated.

Also, what does anyone think of the Isopure protein drink that comes in Arctic punch, Melon and orange I think....it's a nice switch from the milky variety, and quite thirst quenching. Each bottle contains about 160 calories (this is off the top of my head) and around 40g of protein, and 0 carbs. Is this a wise choice? If so, when?

Muscle is the best way to burn fat. It is much harder to gain muscle than lose a little fat. Sooo, eat up, it's the time when it will be put to use. Muscle stimulus is very transient. Your body won't remember it later.

Pre-made drinks. Just say no.

I've read in many places that simple sugar after a workout is good for muscle recovery.

Honestly, I just don't buy it. Regardless of the truth, I just can't take sugar. I've come to realize that sugar is enemy #1 ... to be avoided at ALL costs.

I usually take an MRP after a workout. Seems to do the trick.

I think simplicity is the answer. Too many complex equations clouds the picture. It's paralysis by analysis.

Simple Carbs are what you nees after a workout, this could be in the form of simple sugars it depends how fast you want the conversion to be .These carbs replenish you empty glycogen stores and transports whey (if you take it post-workout) to your muscles. They also causer a spike in insulin levels.

You don't have to do it but it's more productive if you do.
