I'm just saying it does not add up...
Lets go back to the question of what the point of a post-
workout shake is?
You body is screaming for leucine post-
intense workout. If the shake is say 50g (yield) of protein and you take it over an hour, your body is getting 0.8g per min so for the first 20mins you are only getting 16.6g? Surely not enough in that time-scale after an intense workout...
If we are talking about load and utilisation again, surly 16.6g would be questionable
I would be interested in some info on how much the body can absorb and utilise in a given time period.
Seriously, I'm not saying I'm right.... I'm asking a question here!
