I think that would probably burn your throat and stomach. Internal chemical burns can be very painful and hard to treat so I hope you were kidding.

Ketones in the urine can indicate poorly controlled diabetes, a very low-carbohydrate diet, starvation (including disorders that result in poor nutrition such as anorexia nervosa or bulimia), alcoholism, or poisoning from drinking rubbing alcohol (isopropanol).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The oral lethal dose of isopropyl alcohol in humans is 240 mL, with poisoning occurring at 20 mL. Most fatalities from isopropyl alcohol are due to alcoholics drinking rubbing alcohol, mistaking it for ethyl alcohol. Isopropyl alcohol has moderate narcotic properties, similar to ethyl alcohol. Symptoms of isopropyl alcohol ingestion manifest themselves within 30 minutes of ingestion, and include pain in the GI tract, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, muscular incoordination, ataxia, confusion, and in high doses coma and death.

Why don't you just buy a bottle of tequila?

Much tastier, I'm sure....

My dad once told me a story about a couple of construction workers during Prohibition who tried to get around it, and the story wound up playing out at the hospital he did his internship at. One guy told the other guy to just drink rubbing alcohol, that they only said it was poison to keep you away from it, and he'd been doing it for years. The other guy thanked him, drank a bottle, and died horribly. Turned out the first guy had a genetic metabolic disorder that allowed him to drink it safely.

Probably a doctor's urban legend, but still kinda cool.
