i have bought a treadmill and am spending 4 hours doing fast walking on it. with that i am also dieting.

does this mean i will lose weight if i carry on like i am going ?
or am i doing or missing something out?

i just want to know whether if i carry on like i am it will help me to lose weight

If you expend more energy than you intake you will lose weight.

Weight loss should not be your goal - fat loss should be your goal. Unfortunately without some sort of weight training you will lose muscle. I would add in weight training several days per week and drop the cardio to shorter more frequent sessions (30-45min sessions).

Diet is critical to losing fat and not muscle as well. What are you eating?
