Hi there,
Firstly, I really didn't have to do too much to lose the weight. I injured my knee last fall so I HAD to change my routine (I used to be a creature of habit and pretty much did the same routine every workout). I learned to vary the intensity, time and type of workout I did. Also, my fiancee was away at school for a few months and I stopped eating large (guy) portions, eating out and having a few drinks here and there. The weight came off pretty gradually. Also, though, I've been excited planning my wedding which probably affects my nerves and metabolism. I'm a work out and fitness nut. This latest issue has me stumped. I know all about not skipping meals and eating well. Cutting out bad fats, eating lots of fruits and veggies. Staying away from refined carbs etc.
Actually, I recently found out that I'm hypoglycemic so I stay away from white pasta, bread and potatoes as much as I can. Its amazing what cutting out those calories does for your
weight loss.
Anyway, my stats are as follows:
My bmi is at 21
I'm 5'7 135 pounds
30 years old (this september - YIKES)
Like I said, I work out 3-5 X a week
Cardio each time varied 30-60 minutes
weights 1-2 x a week
thanks for your help!
