What is considered active?

What is considered active? How many hours of work a week, or day for that matter, do you need to be doing to be considered an active person? I recently used an online calculator that said 2.5 hours or more a week was active. And moderate was 1.5 to 2.5 hours a week.

So, what do you guys think? At the moment, I'm probably working out and climbing around 9 to 11 hours a week. What about you guys? How many hours?

I really have no idea. I'm in the gym 4 times a week and usually get things done in 80 min (40-50 min weights, 30 min cardio). So my gym time is 320 min per week. Then I estimate time on my bicycle (conservatively and on average) going to and from wherever I am at about 30 min a day. That's 210 min a week. Add that up and calculate hours and I end up at roughly 9 hours. But I always consider myself very active when that kind of question arises.

Lets see I do 3x 20 minutes cardio a week and 3 workout sessions of 60-75 minutes, which totals to about 240-285 minutes. I think myself pretty active.

3 lifting sessions and 2 HIIT routines per week is only 4 hours of exercise a week and I consider myself "Active".

I wrestle 3 times a week for 2 1/2 hrs. Run 4 times a week avg 30 min each. Lift 3 times a week 30 min each. Play volleyball, basketball, and other sports usually at least once a week so about 1 1/2 hrs a week. Which comes close to 12 hrs a week.

In addition to the gym time, I also play tennis at least once a week for a couple hours. Sometimes I play two times a week.

I definately consider myself active.
