LOL! I just saw this and HAD to have a look!! Then I saw what you wrote about me Merrida...LOL! Too funny!
Well, you are right, I will have a field day with this one, but I think the answer is easy and logical. Truly, I think one will never reach maximum fitness, as in reaching their
genetic potential whether it be
muscle building, cardio vascular wise, or anything else. One can always improve, but, how much depends on so many things...such as age you started training, individual intelligence on being able to hone in on your own natural skills, discipline, focus, instincts, life choices, daily stresses and how one deals with those, evolving technology (whether it be fitness equipment, science, supplementation), etc., etc. ..the list could go on and on.
On the other hand, if one is only looking to reach a particular goal with their fitness, and they do reach it, then they can easily say to themselves "I have accomplished what I have always wanted to accomplish!", and for them, that could be the pinnacle of their fitness endevours...and they may feel that they have reached maximum fitness for themselves (for what they've personally set out to accomplish).
But overall, looking at "maximum fitness" as a whole and in general, one will never ever reach maximum fitness. Just as one will never reach their genetic potential...at say muscle building....one
may come close given the technology of the current times (I think Ahhhnold was one of these people for his time period), but they will never reach their maximum fitness potential.
All you can do though, is strive to do the best you can do in whatever it is you are doing!
That wasn't too bad, huh Merrida??? LOL!
