Whey Protein - Cutting+gains

Im looking to cut slightly to get more of a ripped look, ive got definition but i want that degree more. While losing bodyfat i want to still gain definition and mass.

i bought a tub of Nutrisport 90+ Whey Protein Powder 908G - Muscle Growth.

the reviews say that it is low calorie and pretty good for gains.

i go the gym about 2-3 times a weak, and lift quite heavily

how often should i take the whey protein, bear in mind that my diet is nearly perfect for what i want to achieve?

thanks guys

How often you need to take the whey protein depends on how much protein your body actually needs and how much you're already getting in your diet. The whey isn't mandatory at all if you get enough protein in your diet.

yup! I would only use that protien for before and after workouts... otherwise you should just be eating.

It depends really on what your diet is like the rest of the day. It's impossible to take one element of the diet and say this or that will add fat.

well gettin some supply of protien for the night before bed, is definately optimal... but I would drink a protien shake, unless you really have to.

1. protien shakes are absorbed alot faster, which is only short term supply, meaning youre gonna need more protien for the rest of your sleep. So it would be better to eat whole foods which are slow absorbing which will last longer, like milk, nuts, cottage cheese.

2. you will save money not wasting your protien shakes... there are a nutritional supplement, but I think the purpose of them was to use before and after workouts. maybe one during the day on off days.

as for the fat dude... I dont have a clue. Id say as long as your not stuffing down a bunch of carbs before bed you are fine.
