Why am I feeling sick after working out?
Before I go to the gym, I drink my green tea and eat some fruit, but immediately after or towards the end of my workout, I get a little bit naseous (sp). Why is that? Should I be eating better or more before a workout?

Maybe you could try changing what you eat before, see if that helps. I used to get that way, until I increased my cardio conditioning a bit... then it went away.

nausea can sometimes be caused by hypoglycemia. I'd try eating a bit more before working out and seeing if it helps. Perhaps a bowl of oatmeal.

Yes, try taking in more carbs throughout the day, before working out.

Yo dude I used to have that same problem. I'm Persian and I love good tea and always had one before I went to workout. I think something with the caffiene upsets my stomach, because I stopped drinking tea and the problem went away. I hope that helps.

Thanks for the help. I will try and eat more before I go workout, and I might also cut out the green tea until after as well.

3 green tea, one AMP energy drink and found an old ephedra pill then did my 225 decline and some db decline press - FELT GREAT! big protein shake and off to work.
I bonked when running once and was told to have something like ezekial toast before so that there are carbs available, they said that fat burns in a flame of carbohydrate.
Also for people who get sick flying light planes you are supposed to eat first, empty stomach is a fertile ground for nausea.

I try to. But before I go to bed, I have to get my school stuff done. A lot of studying going on right now.
I actually felt really good today at the gym. I just had to cut it short to come home to do more studying, but I didn't feel sick at all. I ate more before I left.

Well that very well could be part of the problem. Resting gives you energy and your body will tell you when you're putting it through crap but has no energy to give.
