Working the abs


i work at home and have soley a multi gym and dumbell, wot ways can i work my abs better apart from sit ups

Also how important is changing workouts making them different? ive been doin the same ones for few months now but im still goin up in weights so am i still benefitting then?

As long as you are still seeing benefits, it's no problem to stick to the same program.

ditto.... if you find yourself not progressing, or getting bored, change your movements up, or change type of routine you do. when sculpting your body, you should try many different exercises to keep your body guessing.

If you use compound lifts in your workouts then the chances are your abs are already strong : to see them more clearly requires a loss of body fat.

If however you feel that you need more 'mass' in your abs, then I suggest weighted decline bench situps Any kind of weighted ab exercise really will do.

General rule: always listen to these to girls... they have great advice to give, and a few years under there belt.

agreed.

but with ab's make sure you let them recover like any other muscle don't work them every day but when you work them make it count

i picked up an ab king pro for like nothing so i just use that got it for goood deeds works a treat

well.. see you should rest the abs, just like you would any other muscle.. but I only agree with that when doing weighted ab work... So im sure you can do them every day...

you might get mixed answers about this.
