Wrist injury from volleyball...now cant workout...how to speed up healing?

Hi
About 3-4 weeks ago I was playing volleyball
and injured my wrist pretty bad during a clash with someone else when i tried to spike the ball....

I know its not broken because I know how it feels like when something is broken, but I think its severly damaged...

I cant workout mannnn!!! I dropped my schedule, diet etc.....cuz it depressed the heck out of me....

so yesterday I tried to bench and couldnt even do one due to the pain it brings the right writst when weigh is packed on it...so now i cant even do anything....its been a month...

i cant take this...

it doesnt hurt, unless i go soemthing intense....

Q- is there soemthing I can do to speed up the recovery????
because this is ridiculous...

thx

Get to the doctor for one thing. It might not be a break (X-ray will show that), but if you did ligament or tendon damage, you need to get an MRI. That damage won't just fix itself and could very well lead to major problems down the line.

If it is not serious just follow standard R.I.C.E protocol.

Rest (don't place any undue stress on it e.g heavy curls etc)

Ice (use an ice pack on the area for 20 minutes 3 times daily, not icey-hot or anything like that)

Compression (wrap the wrist using compression wraps. This can reduce swelling and offer some protection from reinjury)

Elevation (raise the wirst above heart level, this aids in venous return, reducing swelling and speeds healing).

Hope this is helpful.
