To anyone that thinks tofu hot dogs are gross you should really give them another chance they don't taste that bad, maybe not like meet but close enough. i'v managed to give my unknowing friends who always bash tofu these and they had no idea untill i told them! 10g protien per dog and unlike its meat counter part its a fairly healthy food choice...

I avoid them because of the suprises inside. (whitish hard unchewable lumps)

Get a 100% beef hot dog. Heat it in water, microwave, whatever. Slt it lengthwise and open it up like a butterfly. Put it in a frying pan, open side down, or under a broiler, open side up. Tastes nice!

For kids: make a hot dog octopus! Cut about 2/3 of the dog into 8 tentacles -- four slits lengthwise. Boil in water and the tenticles will curl up!

I do that... my son still won't eat it. He is 4 and won't eat any meat other than chicken.

I've got two sons... I've been through a lot of different "finnicky eater" phases. All you can do is perservere. The phases pass with time. At least chicken is healthy! My oldest son would only eat certain brands of chicken nuggets for months!

19 month old daughter

1) all Vegtables - will eat them before anything else
2) Fruit - peaches pears almost anything
3) chicken - in any form
4) Mac n cheese - always has vegies in it
5) cheese - string, sliced, asks for it as a snack
other than that she is pretty picky she would eat her food in that order if all were on her plate

You can teach a dog to eat onions if that's all you give him.

Kids are the same. Mine never got the chance to be too finicky.
