Okay first of all for this recipe you can either cook in the oven, or on a pan.
Things you will need:
1. oregano
2. italian seasoning, if you dont have this its still ok oregano is really good.
3. 2 - 3 lemons
4. Salt
5. Lemon pepper(
black pepper is ok if you dont have lemon)
6. 3
chicken breasts(about 4 ounces each) if you are cooking in a pan, if you are cooking in an oven you can use more(more space)
Directions:
Using a pan on stove:
1. turn to low temperature (6-7)
2. using a little bit of olive oil add to pan
3. using the lemons squeeze out lemon juice(in halves) on the breasts already in the pan.
4. apply the spices in moderation to your liking that is
5. put lemons in pan
6. cover top, let cook for 20 minutes or so
7. Turn the temperature up to 8 - 9 and fry the sides of the breast to your liking(i like doing this i think it adds flavor and it makes the spices stick to the chicken better)
(Another way to cook is to fry it first then turn down and add lemon, whatever works best for you)
Using the oven:
1. preheat to 375
2. add spices to the chicken and lemon same way as in the pan directions(if you use oven bags it is good to shake around the spices but it makes using the lemon hard so the best way is to just not use the bags or just use foil and add lemon after applying spices)
3. Add lemons(halves) to the pan or in the foil
4. Let cook for 30 - 40 minutes to soak in flavor
For a variation try adding a habanero, or some sort of hot sauce or chili.
