Punkie's Oh So Tasty Pasta!

I just had a big bowl of this. It's yummy, high in calories, and has a nice amount of protein too.

You'll want to find Catelli Whole Wheat Spaghettini, and use 1/4 of the pasta in the box.

Bring a pot of water to a boil and add your pasta. It should only take about 4 - 5 minutes to cook.

Seed and chop two tomatos. Chop 1 clove of garlic. Take out the Romano cheese from the fridge.

Once you've drained your pasta, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the warm pot. Add your garlic, a bit of dried hot pepper flakes, and your tomatoes. This shouldn't be on high heat, because you're not really cooking everything, rather warming it through. Add a big pinch of dried basil to the tomato garlic concoction. Salt and pepper to taste.

Add your pasta back to the pot. Toss everything together, and add a bit of romano cheese. I added a little less than a tablespoon. Stir to coat.

Serve. It's AMAZING!

Just found this, punkie, and I have to say I really love this style of pasta preparation... Making an uncooked-tomato sauce, IMO, is a lot easier, quicker, and better tasting than the usual. There's so much room for variation, too!
