Snacks: Yet another protein bar.

Hey, since i read thru this section of DF, i decided to try and make my own protein bar...something that would more suit my needs (the on-the-go-type) I tried some other people's bars and they were kinda.....yeah. Let's just say I wasn't too thrilled. Anyways, i tried this and the way i did it was to use a muffin pan, throw some of the little foil tins in there, oil em up nice and special, then just pour the "batter" into those tins.

Ingredients: (keep in mind i'm trying to be as specific as possible, but some brands probably aren't sold where some of you guys are.)

250mL Egg whites ----- [25:0:0] 118 cals
2 tbsp Natural PB (from bulk store) ---- [8:6:16] 190 cals
6 tbsp No-sugar honey ----[0:10:0] 45 cals <-whoever made this is a god .
6 scoops iso-whey protein --- [120:0:0] 495 cals
1 cup wheat germ (bulk store) --- [27:60:11] 414 cals
1.5 cups rolled oats (bulk store) --- [9:38:3] 220 cals
total ------- [190:114:30] 1480 cals

2 cup serving (i could make 12 little cups, so basically just divide whatever your amount makes into 6 and you'll get one approx. serving)
-------- [32:20:5] 245 cals

I tried this, the egg white really holds it together for me, nearly all of the carbs are complex, the majority of the fats are good EFA's and it makes almost like a muffin, which i don't know about you, but works for me :d. Gotta watch out though, mine rose, but they kinda flopped over a little bit this batch. Let me know any feed back, i've only tried it 3 times, but i figured i would share with you people .

ps. i'm a dumbass, forgot to mention to bake them for 20 minutes at 350. Thx. ~Scott

just wanna know how these are doing, it is a new recipe and i've only tried it about 5 times, so i was wondering if you guys have any improvements or things you wanna add to maybe make it better. I've noticed their a little dry and am trying to figure out what might moisten them a little. Anyways, post your results and such here, lemme get some feedback . Thx. ~Scott

If you add some baking soda (approx 3/4 tsp.) they will rise and hold.
