So I started trying to
gain weight about a month ago.
I started at 128 (6'0) and I am now at 138 about a month later. I am hoping to get up to 160-170.
I've basically been eating every 2 - 3 hours and drinking a protien shake once a day. I eat fairly healthy. It's really cool to step on the scale and see my weight go up, almost addicting in a good way. I had always wanted to gain weight since I was in high school but for some reason I couldn't figure out that I had to eat eat eat to do so - what a concept eh?
The question I have is this - where do guys mainly gain their weight, does it eventually get distributed to legs/face etc? At the moment the only workout Im doing are some pushups/pullups and running 3 miles one night a week as Im going to
boot camp in about 5 months.
I've ordered a platinum crossbow but its still not here and its been about 4 weeks - I wasn't planning on not being able to work out for this long and Im wondering if I should keep eating like I have without any real lifting? I do still need to gain weight - but I want it to go to the right places, will continuing to gain weight while not really lifting have a negative impact on anything once I DO start lifting?
Thanks.
