45% carbs isn't really "low carb" I would consider that moderate carbs. There is no harm in 35% protein and certainly no harm in 30% fat. The protein and fats moderate blood sugar by slowing down digestion. This allows to avoid wild spikes every time you eat, and then dips between meals.
