2 easy protein shake ?tions


1.) I'm trying to bulk up right now, so I have a shake right after my workout, and right before bed. Is it efeective to have a shake before bed?

2.) Is it worth it to drink 2 shakes per day on non-workout days?

1.) Yes. Going all night without protein can hamper results so a shake before bed can help stave that off.

2.) Yes. A constant supply of protein is needed to build muscle, especially on 'off' days when you are resting, which is when you are truly building.

Assuming you are talking whey shakes you'd be better off having the second one first thing in the morning, I take mine right when I wake up then shower or whatever then have a real breakfast.

Getting some protien before bed is a very good thing esp if you are bulking but I'd suggest something slower like cottage cheese, eggs, tuna etc.
