1 - No idea, i dont eat red meat =(

2 - Whats wrong with a baked potato? I eat sweet potatoes personally (More fiber, nutrients, slighty less carbs and taste better). When you say something close - do you mean same amount of fiber, carbs and pro? Or what?

yeah somthing that i can compare that has the protein, carb, calories and such. I love them but i dont have time to cook them. They take like 40 mins on a BBQ right ? I need something thats a bit quicker but just as good.

Dood i bake my potatoes in the microwave. Poke holes in it with a fork (to let steam out), wash it and put it in the microwave for 4-6 min (Depending on the size) and you got a baked potato =)

I have found that an avg sweet potato (7oz) takes about 5min to cook with most microwaves =)

Definitely use the microwave. I didn't think anyone actually baked potatoes in an oven anymore!

A good way to have microwaved potatos that are very close to oven baked is to nuke them for about 5-8 minutes for a good sized potato, pull it out of the microwave, wrap it in aluminum foil and let it sit for about 10 minutes, they come out great that way. The heat generated by the microwave continues to cook them and they come out really well. Read it from a Sharp microwave owner's manual from way back in when!
