I usually eat about an hour after I drink my
postworkout shake. But it's not a high carb meal. I wouldn't see the point in giving your body energy after you've worked out. I eat a high
protein meal with some grapes for dextrose.
Now that I think about it, what time do you workout? I workout at night, so its not benefical to me to have a high carb meal, but if you worked out in the morning, it wouldn't be a bad idea.
